Job Title Senior Homeowner Field Adjuster – Denver, CO Requisition Number R4450 Senior Homeowner Field Adjuster – Denver, CO (Open) Location Colorado – Home Teleworkers Additional Locations Job Information We are actively hiring for a Senior Homeowner Field Adjuster in the Denver, CO area! Essential responsibilities * Receives claims assignments and communicates and coordinates with insured. * Contacts and meets virtually or in-person with the insured or 3rd party to photograph and inspect all damaged dwelling, other structures and personal property. * Determines scope of repairs. Prepares a repair bid using Xactimate estimating system. * Comes to an agreed cost of repair with the insured and possibly the Network Repair Program (NRP) or insured’s contractor. * Follows the claims process to conclusion. * With the assistance of experts where needed, ensures that the cause of the loss is thoroughly investigated and identified. * Settles and pays dwelling, other structure damage, contents and/or loss of use once the coverage analysis is completed. * Handles all correspondence to ensure the file is regulatory compliant. What would make us excited about you * High school diploma or GED. * 3-5 years of homeowner field experience. * Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities. * Proficient in using the computer and typing 30 words per minute. * Experience in balancing multiple homeowner state policies and the understanding of fair claims settlement practices and building codes as needed. * Knowledge of and writing skills in Xactimate repair estimating system. * Capability to work independently in a work-from-home setting.
