This is a great opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to be part of a supportive team and enhance the quality of clients lives. Primary Responsibilities will Include: Oversees the maintenance of patient clinical records and assures compliance with local, state, and federal laws Work with the client, client’s family, and those who are immediately involved in the care of the client to identify and evaluate client needs and appropriateness of home care Provide nursing support through all phases of care, taking into consideration age and developmental needs Support care plans and collaborate with the physician and healthcare team Perform periodic evaluations of the client and make adjustments in their treatment program Educate and instruct the client, clients family, and other staff as required in meeting nursing and related needs Supervise and teach HHAs and CNAs involved in non-medical care and assistance as required for patient care according to law and regulations Notify patients physician and responsible staff of significant changes promptly Coordinate all services provided and consult with other health professionals as needed Effectively plan, organize and set priorities, and complete work assignments with minimum direct supervision Perform regular visits according to the plan of care and submit complete visit notes within 24 hours of completion visit On-call responsibilities shared with RN administrator and owner during after-hours on weekdays and some weekends Perform administrative and HR function as needed which include but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and continual training of all staff, appraise clinical staff performance and participate in staff development meetings Successful Candidates Must Have: A current Florida nursing license Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Minimum of one (1) year experience in general nursing practices Experience with nursing in a home-care setting preferred Knowledge of case management processes Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the team, patients, and their families Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and able to multi-task Valid drivers license, current car insurance, and reliable vehicle Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred Must live within 45 minutes of Windermere Road FL as you will need to complete home visits within 45 miles of office Mileage compensated We offer Excellent Compensation and Flexible Hours, Mileage reimbursement, and Opportunities for Career Advancement!
