Were in need of a Part-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join the team at our Denver Tech Center clinic. Our Part-Time Occupational Therapist will work alongside Physical and Speech Therapy Practitioners to provide our patients with the totality of treatment they need to not just grow but to thrive. Primary Responsibilities Include: Develop and implement treatment programs to meet the individual needs of each child Develop individualized goals for patients to increase daily living skills Educate and demonstrate therapy techniques to parents/caregivers Assess patients and make recommendations, provide referrals as needed Fabricate adaptive equipment, sensory tools as indicated Coordinate purchase of equipment for patients in-home treatment Provide timely documentation of notes, reports, and insurance justifications Maintain communication with patients PCP Provide clinical supervision to occupational therapy students and assistants Assist in developing strategic and long-range plans for STEP Pediatrics Requirements Successful Candidates Must Have: Masters level degree in Occupational Therapy Current NBCOT Current state licensure through DORA 1 year of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist 1-3 years experience treating children in any setting Experience with EMR preferred Colorado Medicaid credentialed preferred CAQH credentialed preferred Knowledge of insurance billing and coding preferred
