Good electronic diagnostic skills with knowledge of CAN systems Knowledge of hydraulics and air brake systems Must bring own tools Ability to self-correct for minor changes in job processes Ability to work independently and consult with peers/service manager when needed Ability to operate and program scanners; willingness to learn scanner software for mobile railcar movers Pleasant attitude towards employees and customers Willingness to stay up-to-date and receive training on latest technologies Willingness to have a national background check, drug test and DOT physical exam conducted as a pre-condition for employment Valid Drivers License and driving record satisfactory to insurance requirement Certificate or AS degree in Diesel Technology are desirable but not required.
