Summary

You will serve as a COMMUNICATION TECHNICIAN in the Patrol Squadron Thirty of PATROL SQUADRON 30.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the proper handling, storage, inventory, accounting and disposition of the Communications Security (COMSEC) material.

You will deploy and implement operating systems and application software.

You will evaluate current and proposed software, applications and patches of applicability and effectiveness.

You will serve as a Video Teleconferencing Technician providing hardware configuration and maintenance support for all VTC assets.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized Experience experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized Experience: Handling, storing, accounting and inventory of Communication Security Material. Complying with all policies and procedure related to COMSEC material. Detecting incorrect or unauthorized security procedures with respect to the task being performed. Providing Windows system administration for the command consisting of software installation, upgrades and configuration support. Providing Video Teleconferencing Technician hardware configuration and maintenance support for all VTC assets. Deploying and implementing operating systems and application software.
