About the Job:
The Sr. Director of Growth Analytics & Data Science will lead a best-in-class data & analytics team, drive innovation in decision making through advanced analytics, growth initiative insights and strategies. Strong background in analytics, marketing, and business strategy, with a proven track record of leveraging data to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and revenue generation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive growth data science and analytics strategy to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. Lead operational metrics, manage, and build BizOps analytics to set up a systematic data driven strategy. Implement modern approaches to AI in data science for Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience. Collaborate cross-functionally with those teams and Executives to develop and execute data-driven growth initiatives. Lead a team of data scientists to analyze customer behavior, marketing performance, and other key metrics to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making. Define KPIs and metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives and establish processes for ongoing monitoring and reporting. Define and build customer 360 profile and segmentation engine to support revenue growth and improve CSAT and retention. Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, customer segments, and agency management to optimize performance and maximize ROI. Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in growth data science and leverage new data science technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Communicate key insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders and provide guidance and support on growth-related initiatives. Act as a subject matter expert on growth data science and data-driven decision-making and provide training and mentorship to team members as needed. Identify and prioritize areas for experimentation and A/B testing to optimize conversion rates and profitable revenue growth. Metrics Tracking, Reporting and analysis: Developing dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to growth metrics. Data scientists often work closely with stakeholders to communicate insights, trends, and recommendations derived from the data. Education:
Master or PhD degree in business, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in analytics for growth, marketing analytics, business operation, management consulting or related roles, with at least 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role in data science and analytics. Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI. Understanding DBT or other data processing tools Experience with marketing analytics, customer segmentation, cohort analysis, and predictive modeling and recommendations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of analysts and data scientists. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
