Spanish speaking Executive Housekeeper for an UHNW family estate in Southwest Florida, USA(Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card)Are you a meticulous and experienced Executive Housekeeper looking to join a prestigious UHNW family in sunny Florida? Our client is seeking a dedicated, self-motivated professional with a passion for excellence and continuous improvement to oversee the seamless management of their expansive estate and associated portfolio of properties that operates to the standard of a five-star boutique luxury hotel. As the Executive Housekeeper, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the pristine condition of their residence, ensuring every detail is meticulously attended to. From managing household staff to implementing impeccable cleaning standards, your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our home.The successful candidate will be highly energetic individual who is excited about the challenges that a large property demands on a day-to-day basis and demonstrates the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and discretion; while also utilizing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop positive working relationships with the estate’s principal, estate staff, contractors, vendors, and others. The ideal individual must be able to convey information and ideas clearly in English and Spanish. Be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately and will have no problem working well in stressful, high pressure situations.You must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. Above all, you must be effective at listening to and understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers, guests and have outstanding training and mentoring skills.The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years current management experience in housekeeping department in a full service boutique/resort property. You should also process a hospitality degree or diploma in your related field. You must also process outstanding leading and outstanding supervisory experience and must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office. This position is a full-time permanent hands-on management opportunity.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Collaborating closely with and receiving guidance from the Estate Manager, the individual leads a small core team entrusted with the comprehensive management of all housekeeping duties.People Management; hiring, performance management, developing, training, coaching and mentoring staff.Ensuring all daily housekeeping duties are executed to the highest standard while respecting the principals’ expectations and being mindful and cognizant of principal and guest preferences.Liaise and provide appropriate service levels to principal and guests.Ensure the residences are as pristine and welcoming as possible.Be open to, suggest and manage evolving duties and responsibilities.Schedule and execute larger cleaning projects on weekly, monthly or annual basis.Interior cleaning of all residences (principal, guest, boathouse and staff).Ensure exterior cleaning and maintenance of all outdoor “living areas” including cleaning of pools, patio furniture, sweeping of walkways etc.Purchasing and inventory control.Ensure appropriate care of fine items such as wardrobe, artwork, and other valuables.Work respectfully with other household staff, contractors, vendors and others to ensure successful operation of the estate.Qualifications:Ideally, have previous strong experience as an Executive Housekeeper for a high net worth principal/s.Experience in hospitality, hotel management, yachting, culinary industries is highly desirableMust have had strong people and staff management experience – including setting expectations, motivating staff, managing performance, coaching and mentoringMust have experience building SOPs, inventory management systems and process manuals.Demonstrable experience with identifying and optimizing efficiencies.Excellent housekeeping & laundry skills and knowledge of cleaning and maintaining luxury surfaces and care of fine itemsMust have prior experience in fast paced environments with multiples events and high and low seasons and be comfortable scaling up or down as required (can have up to 100 guests at peak)Must be service oriented with strong communication skillsMust be gracious and able to handle difficult situations in a professional, calm solution minded mannerMust be highly self-motivated and engaged, fueled with a passion for excellence and continuous improvementMust be solution oriented, able to think outside the box,Able to demonstrate ownership and accountability in all aspects of the roleStrong ability to multi-task with excellent time management skillsA self-starter that can work effectively with minimal supervisionMust have exceptional attention to detail.Individual must have a polished and well-groomed professional appearanceMust always exercise complete discretion and maintain confidentiality.English and Spanish: written and verbalMust have a clean drivers abstract and access to a vehicle.Note: This role will require longer hours, including evenings and weekends, particularly during peak seasons.Salary: Negotiable with company benefits.To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your relevant experience to:Pina Mercuri at: [email protected] or Yasmin Khambatta at: [email protected]: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
