You will report to the Vice President of Engineering, managing 2 agile teams working on a high-volume e-commerce application. Work closely with Product peers to build alignment on business objectives and coach your direct reports to personal and team success. You will endeavor to deeply understand the technologies in use and be responsible for the delivery and quality of software releases.What are the key responsibilities? Lead 2 agile teams to design and build features to delight customers and make sellers more efficientCoach and mentor engineering and QA direct reportsBuild growth targets and goals for your direct reports and help them to realize themHelp ATG scale as the business continues to growWork with the scrum master to champion agile development processes and ensure the team embraces continuous improvementWork toward improving CI/CD and other DevOps principlesCreate a positive and safe environment for your teamWork closely with counterparts from other areas of the businessBring a balance of business and technology as well as tactical and strategic to conversations and decision makingRecruit and onboard new members of your teamsYou have:BS in computer science, information systems, business or equivalent experienceExperience managing 10+ software engineer direct reports for at least 3 yearsTrack record of hiring, mentoring, and growing teamsAbility to work in an environment of change and adapt quickly to evolving situationsSolid understanding of cloud computing principles and architectureExperience working on an e-commerce or other high-transaction web-based productAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to a business audienceExperience with modern programming languages Node.JS, React, (Java preferred)
