The Channel Sales Specialist is responsible for generating sales leads, maintaining a pipeline of new business, and converting this to new sales revenue through the network of authorized partners. This role requires an individual with a successful background in lead generation, cold calling, pipeline management, and solution selling. This role will work closely with their assigned Sales business unit to achieve new business revenue targets within their assigned geographic territory.
We are looking for individuals with a passion to achieve and exceed deliverables in a fast-paced sales environment while simultaneously building long-lasting reseller/end-user customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a positive customer experience for channel partners/end users while maintaining company goals and directives
- Expand New Business customer segments by prospecting, upselling, and processing multi-year license terms
- Effectively communicate the benefits and value of anti-virus/security solutions to prospective end-users and existing channel partner customers
- Prospect and develop new customers and additional new business opportunities from the existing customer install base (new customers or new products to existing customers)
- Build and maintain an accurate pipeline of business
- Maintain accurate end-user information in CRM
- Respond to voicemails per company policy
- Prospect, qualify and develop prospective business from outbound marketing campaign leads, inbound leads, partner referrals, and various other lead sources
- Research prospective customers, identify key decision-makers, generate interest, and develop account opportunity
- Provide & process any and all sales related materials (Quotes, Sales Orders, Invoices, Trial Licenses, Etc.) for channel partners
Qualifications:
- College degree (preferred)
- Knowledge of general computer usage techniques
- 1-2 years of Channel Sales experience
