Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, works with occasional supervision, and from broad guidelines and objectives, the primary duty of this position is to develop and implement technology solutions with a product quality focus. The fast-paced environment allows the opportunity to explore new, innovative solutions and implement them both within the quality team as well as company-wide. As part of working for Milwaukee Tool, you will assist in the launch of many new, exciting products that deliver unique solutions to our end-users in a highly cross-functional environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conceive, plan, organize, and coordinate technology-driven solutions of assigned special projects leveraging cross-functional teams from inception to completion.
Configuration and Setup of automated inspection and Sorting equipment
Implementation of Quality 4.0 projects (
Identify and implement expanded opportunities in data collection for Process and Product.
Manage the creation of digitally integrated work instructions and control plans for special projects.
Implement expanded traceability in special projects and industrialize solutions for future use.
Maintain Up-to-date knowledge of new industrial automation trends/techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management of Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
Previous Experience or willing to learn Machine Vision, Robotics, or Industrial automation
Knowledge of at least one programming language required (C#, SQL, Java, Python, IOS, .NET, LabView, or Visual Basic)
Ability to travel 10-20% of the time is required (travel includes Domestic and International)
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills and creative problem-solving capabilities
Experience and knowledge using power tools is preferred
Ability to work cross-functionally.
Knowledge of quality management principles preferred
