Connect with your Talent Advisor today for additional specifics.ResponsibilitiesAscension Medical Group is looking for a Board Certified General Surgeon for Lourdes General Surgery Practice.This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Lourdes to provide surgical services to patients in the Binghamton area and surrounding communities.Position Highlights:* Work alongside a collaborative team of three surgeons and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to provide outstanding surgical services and patient care.Responsibilities:* Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate surgical treatment.* Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure successful efforts to improve the quality of care provided to patients.* Accepts patient referrals from other physicians.* Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.* Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.* Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which includes participation in an on call schedule.About Ascension Lourdes Hospital* As a member of Ascension Lourdes Hospital, you will join a community of committed doctors, nurses and associates who have been providing compassionate care for the last 95 years.
