*Position:* Network Engineer II (Denver Campus) *Job Description:* *What You’ll Be Doing** Support Network in Denver Campus including working with users and Desktop Support on trouble issues.* Provide support on configuring and testing network devices in the lab and then shipping them out to the sites.* Plan, execute and maintain a thorough understanding of Network Engineering (IP Routing, Ethernet Switching, VPN, etc.)* Design, configure and setup complex Wide Area network environment* Design, configure and setup complex switching environment* Design, configure and setup complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support real time applications* Design, configure and support complex Data Center network, multi-vendor environment with open standard protocol, redundancy, and resilience network solution* Plan and Design of multi-vendor environments including IP address schemes, DNS, Ether-Channel (Bonding), virtualize switching & fabric technology, etc.* Proactive network performance monitoring and reporting* Understanding of SaaS, PaaS platform, planning and deployment techniques* Create and maintain Network documentation for use by the network operations and support teams* Managing projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives and timelines* Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support* Supervising the administration of systems and server additions to the network, changes to the network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.* Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, cloud applications to resolve operational issues and restore services* Troubleshoot Network performance problems using network analyzers and packet capturing technologies* Networking technology Research & Development, proof of concept evaluations* Disaster Recovery simulation exercise pre-planning and on-site support as needed* Operational and backup recovery support*What Are We Looking For?** Technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills required* Leading a small team of engineers for projects and network exercises* Proficient in root cause analysis and remediation to avoid future outages* Proficient in Cisco hardware and IOS/ IOS XE and/or other leading vendor platform such as* Aruba hardware and ArubaOS* Juniper switching and firewall hardware and Junos OS* Palo Alto firewall hardware and PANOS* Large scale Network management & monitoring solutions* Routing technologies and protocols (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)* VPN creation and troubleshooting (IPSEC and GRE)* Ethernet switching technologies (creation and support of VLANs, Ether channel, Spanning Tree, etc.)* WAN acceleration technology* Cloud Technology and Software Define WAN understanding.* Wireless network design and support* Knowledge of Video conference & VoIP implementation and support* Packet sniffer capture tracing and application performance analysis (Wireshark, Gigamon, etc.)* Ability to communicate, written and verbal, to both technical and non-technical co-workers* Must have the ability to multi-task and track the status of multiple projects and issues at once* Willing and able to share IT knowledge, solutions, and tips with others* Ability to document detailed procedures and processes and a demonstrated ability to share knowledge* Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio* Occasional travel (regional up to 20%), flexible to work extended hours and weekends when required for support and project related activities*Education/Experience Requirements:*Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.*What’s In It For You? *At Arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and great benefits are important aspects of an ideal job.
