JOB DESCRIPTION:Jiant is looking for an experienced National Accounts Manager to play a critical role in building Jiant’s chain business on the West Coast. This is a huge-impact role with unlimited opportunity to grow and create the future with us as a prominent player in an exploding category. Deep commercial knowledge, pension for developing strategic relationships and tenacity to define and achieve success at retail will be essential in this role. The National Account Manager West is responsible for developing and increasing the Company’s business in National and Regional chains across Supermarket, C-Store, and Club in Jiant’s western territories. This position reports to the Sr. Director of National Accounts and will work closely with buyers, distributors, and field sales teams to ensure consistent execution of Company priorities and goals.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Build effective long-term relationships with retail chain buyers, distributors and key internal/external stakeholdersMaintain high level of interaction and communication with retail chain buyers and their respective division and district management teamsDevelop annual business plan for assigned accounts and identify resources needed to successfully execute the plansIdentify and set distribution objectives within priority accounts and develop selling story and action plan to successfully close against objectivesCreate, organize and implement chain programming and promotionsTrack, analyze, synthesize data to inform strategic insights and action plansDevelop dashboards and KPIs to measure impact by channel, program and aggregateWork cross-functionally with marketing and regional sales team to ensure successful execution at retailSchedule, prepare for, and conduct regular meetings and presentations with prospective and current chain buyersEnsure that your team has resources needed to deliver desired resultsAlign sales team behind the targets and create a passion for winning in the organization JOB REQUIREMENTS:3-5+ years proven Sales leadership in National Account Management in beverageIdeal candidate resides in Southern California but not a requirementPreferred experience calling on and working with the primary and secondary chains in the territory including but not limited to: Albertsons/Safeway, Kroger, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Costco, Stater Bros, 7-Eleven, Total Wine, Raleys, Savemart/Lucky and others. Demonstrated capacity to communicate and work effectively across functional groups/departmentsAbility to apply business experiences across multiple product lines and/or channelsAptitude to think creatively and strategically, and translate strategy into operational tacticsAn independent mindset, valuing collaborative decision making, capable of championing ideas with confidenceStrong organizational skills with the ability to analyze data and track performanceProven track record of creating compelling and successful sales presentations tailored to customers as well as the ability to effectively communicate programs to Field Sales teamDETAILSThis is a full-time role that will require travel within the assigned territory Position reports to Sr. Director of National Accounts and will also work closely with regional sales teamCompensation commensurate with experience and highly competitivePerformance-based bonusStock options401k w/ matching programMedical, dental, and vision insurance, plus other benefits and perks (free booch!)Flexible schedule and vacation policyABOUT JIANTFounded in 2019 by friends Larry Haertel Jr. and Aaron Telch, Jiant proudly calls Los Angeles home.
