This person will be responsible for reducing costs while safely building a quality product.NOTE: You MUST be Authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.Key Responsibilities:Lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.Development of value stream maps, defining current state and developing future state, then driving execution towards the future state by leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles, eliminating waste, and improving Quality.Lead development and design of assembly fixturing, poka yoke assembly jigs, and assembly conveyance devices to support flow, ergonomics, and quality while improving efficiencies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, quality, and engineering standards are met.Support facility layouts and manufacturing process improvements.What We're Looking For:A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.5-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a preference for those holding Project Management and Lean Manufacturing certifications.Proficiency in MS OfficeExceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
