The purpose of your role as a Lead Building Automation System Specialist
As the Lead Building Automation System Specialist, you will be responsible for turn-key execution of building automation projects. The Lead Building Automation System Specialist develops and executes small retrofit and upgrade projects, while functioning as the project superintendent and manager for larger designed projects up to $500,000. The Lead Building Automation System Specialist may also function as the superintendent on projects over $500,000 in coordination with a full-time Project Manager. The subject matter expertise and knowledge needed for this role includes system design, component selection, installation, programming, commissioning, and operational verification SOPs. This position has a vast amount of mechanical and control system knowledge and experience to help guide the team to successful project completion while contributing to the desired culture and safety of the organization.
This is a traveling position, with 80% travel required.
What we're looking for in you
5 Years of proficient understanding of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems including the various components and processes. 5+ years pf proficient understanding of various design concepts. 5+ years of proficient understanding of physical principles. 5+ years of proficient understanding of computers, electronics, and electrical circuits and how they work together. 5+ years of proficient understanding of engineering and technology including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment. 5+ years of proficient understanding of documentation and recording process. 5+ years of proficient understanding of building and construction materials, tools, and processes. 5+ years of customer service experience 3+ years of experience developing and authoring programming logic Tridium N4 Certification– Required or ability to obtain within 1 year Associates degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience Your life at Harris

Pay Range: $82,747 - $124,120 annually
The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
