General Description:The Dental Residency Program Director is responsible for the development, oversight, and coordination of the Dental Residency Program. This pivotal role involves ensuring that our dental residents receive the highest standard of training and mentorship. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and implementation of a comprehensive program plan, integrating educational milestones and professional activitiesConduct of the program, including rotation of residents to ensure advancement according with educational planAnnual review and assessment of the program to ensure quality and efficacySelection of candidates for admission, performance assessments, and career planning for residentsSupervision and evaluation of faculty and staff, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and program policiesGathering and reporting complete and accurate information as requested by the accrediting, licensure, certification and funding agenciesResponsible for direct supervision of dental residents and dental facultyThese essential job functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties assigned.
