This Community, Events & Marketing Lead role is a unique opportunity to own those three functions at The New Club, a private membership network for senior women in engineering. If you are successful, you will have meaningfully shaped the frontiers of the technology industry by ensuring brilliant female technologists are represented at the helm.Key Responsibilities:Community Marketing, Growth & Engagement: Spearhead initiatives for community growth through a mix of internal and external communications campaigns, including social media management , public relations, and both internal and external newsletters. Leverage software and tools for efficient messaging and outreach.Event Strategy & Execution: Design and execute a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with our goals for user engagement, growth, and ROI. This includes overseeing the logistics of community events in various cities and countries, with a focus on creating high-quality experiences that resonate with our audience.Community Program Design & Execution: Design and execute relevant programming for our users and partners. Partner Development: Establish and nurture strong relationships with company partners. Implement efficient workflows to enhance the partner experience, ensuring they are well-informed and excited about their participation in our unique curated programming.Management: manage a high-performance team of 1-3 marketing and operations professionals. Process Innovation: Develop and refine processes and playbooks to streamline event planning and execution. Explore the use of internal systems and tools to innovate and scale our event capabilities, ensuring a consistent cadence of high-quality events.Key Qualifications:Creative with excellent writing skills and a knack for producing high-quality campaigns and events that showcase good taste and innovation.Eye for designing and executing high-quality, memorable, and impactful events, with experience across a wide range of event formats, scale (20 to 500+ audience size), and events volume.Extremely detail-oriented, with a proven track record of managing complex logistics and ensuring nothing is overlooked.Track record of delivering results quickly with the excitement to work hard in a dynamic, fast-paced early-stage startup environment.
