As an Insurance Verification Coordinator at CORA, you would verify and document all third-party payers and review patient admissions and payer contracts. In this role, you would ensure patient insurance information, benefits, and authorizations are obtained and entered in the computer system accurately. This is a full-time position .

What You’ll Need:
·Minimum high school diploma or GED
·Experience with processing medical insurance claims and/or insurance verifications or precertification preferred
·Knowledge of online insurance verification sites and office procedures preferred
·Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – specifically using formulas in Excel is required
·Strong time management and organizational skills
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Good problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
·Has ability to work effectively in teams and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
What You’ll Do:
·Answer all incoming calls promptly and politely with the utmost Customer Service, relay messages as necessary
·Verify all types of patient insurances for therapy benefits, co-payments, limitations and approved number of visits
·Manage patient benefit communications with patients and practice staff
·Advise PSCs and patients of their financial responsibility (, copay/deductible amounts per visit and payment expectations) utilizing the financial responsibility form
·Maintain PAIR daily report to determine which patients need authorizations for additional visits and which patients need scheduling
·Maintain patient confidentiality
