Brief summary of this position:
Associates will have the opportunity to impact future generations of Bereans via high-impact recruitment strategies with both first-year and transfer students. Each Associate serves an assigned region within the College's defined service area and is responsible for sharing Berea College with prospective applicants so that they submit an application. Additionally, Associates support transfer students to submit and complete applications. This position offers opportunities for hybrid works and limited travel (combined total less than 2 months) over the course of an annual recruitment cycle.

Bachelor's Degree from Berea College with a graduation date in 2023 or May 2024. Experience required to ensure success in this position:
Experience with high school students preferred but not required. Special skills, knowledge and abilities:

Valid driver's license and good driving record; Required background check Physical requirements:
Ability to drive long distances and stand for several hours at a time; Ability to carry/transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs.; Ability to navigate campus/public buildings and grounds. Environmental conditions:
Some driving in inclement weather may be necessary; Professional office environment with interruptions and noise due to frequent visitors, students, staff and faculty Ability to operate the following vehicles or equipment:

Seasonal travel within the region to represent the College at recruitment events/high school visits Manage the assigned recruitment region so that an appropriate number of students submit applications Use high-impact recruitment strategies (e.g. phone, email, texts, cards) via Taskcenter in order to convert inquiries to applicants each year Submit road reports and enter contact cards after each scheduled school or organization presentation Review and analyze departmental reports and dashboards to track progress and determine appropriate follow-up As required, attend and participate in on-campus recruitment events Plan and conduct off-campus events for student influencers to maintain and grow network within assigned region Assist in coordination of travel for group visits and provide information session while on campus Analyze data to create a strategic travel plan in collaboration with BereaCorps Liaison and the Coordinator of Recruitment & Outreach Support completion, review and yield of transfer applicants via Taskcenter and other methods. Complete administrative tasks, duties and responsibilities (Road Reports, expense reports, entry of contact cards, etc) in a timely manner while maintaining quality customer service Other roles/duties will be assigned as necessary to assist the College in the attainment of the goals set forth and the enhancement of a positive, respectful learning environment for all staff, faculty and students.
