Job Description:
Thermal engineer responsible for performing steady state and transient heat transfer analysis to predict the range of temperatures experienced throughout the operational lifecycle of launch vehicle components, subsystems, and structures. Guides design of thermal protection solutions through participation in multidisciplinary design teams. This position supports the Major Development market segment focused on the development and upgrade of the legacy launch vehicle.
The primary analysis tool used is Thermal Desktop although occasionally Sinda may be required.
Must have a bachelors in engineering (or closely related field) and a minimum of 5 years experience of launch / space vehicle thermal analysis.
Software proficiency: Thermal Desktop
Occasional overtime will be likely to meet project deadlines
