POSITION: Software Sales Representative

DEPARTMENT: Sales

REPORTS TO: Sr. VP, Sales and Business Development

JDA eHealth Systems Inc. is the developer and publisher of Parathon®, a market-leading revenue cycle software-as-a-service for the healthcare industry. JDA’s core products and services help hospitals and physician practices manage their entire revenue cycle.

The successful Software Sales Representative will be highly visible within the organization and will work closely with Senior Management to identify opportunities, aggressively grow revenue, and assist with product innovation. The Software Sales Representative will need to take initiative, build rapport with existing customers and new prospects, and thrive in an environment that fosters critical and independent thinking. Compensation for this position is largely self-driven.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Aggressively research and pursue new hospital sales opportunities for Parathon® as well as upsell opportunities for existing customers

  • Work closely with Senior Management to create an effective sales strategy

  • Report sales activities and results accurately and timely to management

  • Work collaboratively with Client Support, Client Operations, and Legal to successfully support new and existing customers

  • Work with product teams to assist with product innovation based on feedback gathered from the field

  • Must have the ability to use, discuss, and demonstrate relevant technology

  • Should have relevant knowledge of the hospital environment; specifically managed care and patient financial services

  • Ability to quickly identify key decision makers and obtain an audience

  • Strong organization skills that supports consistent follow-up and reporting

  • Ability to influence and provide guidance to prospects

  • Ability to work individually and within a team environment

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field

  • Proven track record of successful sales direct to hospitals

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in software and healthcare
