We are looking for a mid-level Site Reliability and/or DevOps Engineer with the ability to thrive in an unstructured environment and serious about automation, to help maintain the reliability of the companys SaaS offering and ensure the Developers can deploy their servers without worrying about downtime. Job Title: Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer Location: REMOTE + Onsite in San Francisco, CA Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire ***Sponsorship not available | No 3rd Parties/OPT/H1B please Responsibilities: Automating manual operational processes Improving workflows of development, data, and machine learning teams Managing integration and deployment tooling Creating, maintaining, monitoring and auditing infrastructure Managing a diverse array of technology platforms, following best practices and procedures Participating in on-call rotation and root cause analysis Requirements Education – Degree in Computer Science or similar field is a plus IT Experience – At least 2 years of previous experience in Development, IT Operations or any related field Passion and experience in Automation Operating Systems – Linux/Debian/Ubuntu Configuration Management – Chef/Ansible/Puppet/Salt Containerization – Docker Container Orchestrators – Mesosphere/Kubernetes Scripting Languages – Python/Ruby/Node/Bash CI/CD Tools – Jenkins Network Hardware – Arista/Cisco/Fortinet Hardware – HP/SuperMicro Storage – Ceph, S3 Database – Scylla, Postgres, Pivotal GreenPlum Message Brokers: RabbitMQ Logging/Search – ELK Stack Cloud – AWS VPC/EC2/IAM/S3 Networking – TCP / IP, ICMP, SSH, DNS, HTTP, SSL / TLS, Storage Systems, RAID, Distributed File Systems, NFS / iSCSI / CIFS Comfortable working on Linux infrastructures (Debian) via the CLIAble to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently independently Can physically lift equipment at least 30 pounds Ability to communicate effectively across teams and management levels Benefits The company offers competitive salary, equity, health/vision/dental insurance, catered lunch and dinner, corporate gym membership, etc.
