The Network Software and Automation team designs and develops pragmatic, reliable and repeatable automation solutions through a combination of network engineering knowledge and coding. We are looking for someone with a passion for leading and building software defined functionality within a programmable infrastructure. This Sr. Manager role is instrumental in improving the organization’s automation framework and processes, along with leading team, developing and driving vision of Network Programmability to enable Self-service functionality. This role will partner with multiple infrastructure, security and operations teams, ensuring successful and efficient deployment solutions and creating corresponding documentation.
The successful candidate will have experience with Automation in Enterprise Networks, AWS, Azure and/or GCP Networking, SDWAN/WAN, etc utilizing REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform, Python, 3rd party Network Automation Tools like Glueware or Itential, etc, and can provide analysis of vendor solutions and integrations with third party cloud solutions and providers. The candidate will also have broad proficiency in network virtualization, cloud computing, SDN/NFV, and overlay technologies.
The candidate must be able to transform complex problems and abstract concepts into executable technology solutions. In this role, the person will be accountable for leading small team of developers and not only develop network automation capabilities across Network services, but also stand-up our new potential Network Automation platform, perform code management, migrations from legacy systems and ensuring communication of these services globally.
Travel is required up to 5%.
