Sales Representative – Organic Food 
 

 

 

GoFresh seeks an aggressive Sales Representative to join our thriving team. We are a distributor of fresh fruits, vegetables, and additional foods that support health and well-being. The Sales Representative will be responsible for staying up-to-date on current product offerings/knowledge, generating their own leads and analyzing and predicting future trends and needs.

 

Though our stellar reputation precedes us in the industry, this role is geared for a hunter, someone who is not afraid to make the calls and have the face to face interactions needed for successful close of business. The right Sales Representative has a minimum of 3 years documented success in business to business sales, an understanding of the fresh foods supply logistics, and superior research skills.

Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Representative will Include:

  • Bring in new business by actively cold calling and following up on all leads provided in a timely fashion
  • Solve service problems, tracks order/delivery errors, call on accounts to resolve issues and follow up on special orders
  • Develop and maintain historical perspective on the marketplace to analyze and predict future trends and needs. Also maintains familiarity with competitor’s products and services
  • Work with the transportation department to facilitate timely customer deliveries
  • Introduce new specialty food items to our customer base
  • Ability to be the expert in specialty foods in order to train and teach existing sales team
  • Additional duties as needed

 

Qualifications for Sales Representative Include:

  • One year of experience in Food Sales a plus
  • Must be able to think strategically and develop long-term plans and relationships
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Proven success managing accounts
  • Motivation to research and provide proactive solutions
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Experienced in product specification and quality parameters
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other computer software programs as needed.

With sustained growth, Tulsa Fruit Company rebranded as GoFresh Produce in 2009 and continued our ongoing expansion of available service areas.
