Position Summary: A growing food manufacturing leader is actively seeking a food processing operations or plant management professional. This position is responsible for providing operational leadership and direction for overall vision and direction of the plant operation by way of guidance, direction, encouragement, policy and SOP implementation as well as employee training and development. Reports to VP of Operations. Position Responsibilities: Areas of operational accountability include production, logistics, distribution, purchasing, quality, sanitation maintenance, engineering and customer service. Develops and coaches managers and supervisors to excel to the peak of their performance levels while meeting or exceeding departmental goals and objectives. This position is responsible for the complete operation of the processing facility. Develops and implements necessary operational and regulatory policies and SOPs as necessary. Ensures safe, efficient operation of the plant within the established guidelines and all governmental laws and regulations. Monitors production, inventory, safety, human resources, quality assurance, maintenance and sanitation programs. Ensures ethical behavior in all aspects of managing the facility, its material and human resources. Responsible for the processing facility’smanufacturing budgets Responsible for fostering a culture of leadership development and team building, as well as creating a culture of engagement and employee ownership Assure regulatory compliance and oversee 3rdParty Audits including to but not limited to OSHA, EPA, USDA, EEO, HACCP, BRC Qualifications: 7 Years Food Processing Experience 5 of which have been in a Manufacturing/Operations/Plant Management Role. BS in Business, Food Science, Engineering Or Related Excellent Communication, Presentation, Negotiation Skills Basic Statistical Skills as well as the ability to track and analyze financial results Leadership Competencies: Ethics, Integrity, Trust, Drive for Results, Managing Vision & Purpose, Effective Decision Making, Team Building, Action Oriented, Strategic Agility & Priority Setting, Hands On / Role Up Sleeves Approach
