Who We Are
Friday Health Plans’ products are designed with simplicity and affordability in mind for people who buy their own health insurance. Plans are offered in bronze, silver, gold and catastrophic categories. They include benefits that many customers use the most, such as unlimited $0 primary care and mental health visits, thousands of $0 preferred generic drugs, and unlimited $0 virtual doctor visits.
Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Friday was founded in 2015 and started selling plans in Colorado in 2017. After acquiring $50 million in funding in 2019, the company expanded and currently serves more than 80,000 members in Texas, New Mexico, Nevada and Colorado. The company is raising additional funding to support its future growth, with plans to add three to five new states each year.
All health plans are compliant with the Affordable Care Act and are regulated by individual states’ divisions of insurance. Plans are offered on and off the health insurance marketplace, through licensed brokers, and through the Friday Health Plans website.
What You’ll Do
The Marketing and Engagement Specialist will help coordinate communication with our members, brokers, employees and other stakeholders. This team member wears multiple marketing communications hats as the company expands in existing states and launches in several new ones each year. This person will serve as the “listener” to the Friday members so marketing has thorough insight into the member experience and create appropriate messages and campaigns. This entails working closely with many departments, including customer service, broker service, provider relations, and other operational groups. They will also serve as the main liaison for company-wide internal communications, including assisting with rolling out and managing the new company intranet.
