Hiring a HANDS ON Executive Chef – FAST PACED environment
We are looking for an up and coming, hard working, executive chef. MUST want to be in the kitchen, on the line and in the HEAT.
Creative, knowledge of the local clientele
Customer-Service: Being friendly and courteous to customers.
Attention to Detail: food standards, costs, safety, etc.
Leadership: must be a leader in the back of house, resolving conflicts and get the job done.
Management Skills: costs, pricing, creating work schedules and hiring AND training staff.
Organizational Skills: Keeping work schedules, shipments, cleaning schedules and more organized is crucial to the job.
Problem-Solving Skills: Dealing with employee conflict, irate customers and wrong stock orders is part of a kitchen managers job. Being able to come up with a solution quickly is a needed skill.
Speaking Skills: accurately and easily communicate standards and cooking methods to staff, give orders and speak with customers clearly.
