Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of ERP NetSuite Analyst III in Benbrook, TX or Houston, TX POSITION SUMMARY: The ERP Technical Analyst is responsible for understanding the evolving ERP needs of the Oil States business while managing the technical design, development, implementation, and support of application solutions that meet those needs. This includes the current ERP system (NetSuite), 3rd Party integrations and customizations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Collaborates closely with IT and Business Leadership to support business functions and key users on improvements and enhancements based around the ERP system – NetSuite. * Participates in the development of business and technical requirements and translates into comprehensive solution designs. The primary technical resource to finalize and document business and technical requirements necessary to design, develop, test, and implement solutions on the NetSuite platform. * Manages evolution of the NetSuite platform capabilities, including reporting, dashboards, workflows, data migration rules, business rules, or other detailed deliverables. * Assists with data analysis, reporting needs, continuous improvement initiatives and support for optimal usage within NetSuite. * Advises on how to leverage out-of-the-box NetSuite solutions, as well as when to customize. * Coordinates release preview and business process testing for ongoing NetSuite upgrades. * Plans, executes, and tests configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles and permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports, and dashboards. * Creates technical and functional documentation, including process maps, SOP’s, run books or work instruction documents. * Adheres to SOX and IT General Controls mandatory change management controls and documentation. * Works with NetSuite support staff to assist users and provide user training. * Maintains proper system access for all users and roles. * Debugs, troubleshoots, and resolves production issues. * Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Preferred Bachelor’s degree in MIS or computer science but may accept equivalent work experience. * 3 – 5 years of experience in an ERP NetSuite Development or Support role. * Broad familiarity with areas covering ERP (GL, Financials, Banking, Payables, and Receivables), MRP (Manufacturing & Warehouse Management), CRM (Life cycle from Lead to Quote to order, Marketing to ROI), Electronic Funds Transactions, & Fixed Asset. * Application Development experience in NetSuite, MS SQL, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk SuiteScript, CSV Integrator, SuiteAnalytics, Microsoft Power BI, Custom data records, JavaScript. * Functional (end user) and administrator experience in NetSuite. * Previous NetSuite administrator experience is required, Functional (end user) experience helpful. * Experience designing and configuring/developing custom reports, dashboards, and workflows within NetSuite. * Development of interfaces for supported applications as well as unsupported applications requiring integration. * Implementation of additional ERP platform modules (Advanced Manufacturing, Warehouse Management). * Experience writing object-oriented JavaScript. * Experience with data migrations and conversions. * Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Planning, organizational, communication, and networking skills. * Ability to interface with personnel across all levels of the business. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * The employee is often required to sit for prolonged periods of time and use their hands and fingers to manipulate keys on a keyboard for prolonged periods of time. * The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend and lift. * Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. * The employee is occasionally required to attend meetings out of the office and may include overnight travel.
