The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for a position within the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program which provides support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Boston, MA. Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States. Selected candidates will also be required to undergo a federal security background check.
Role and Responsibilities:
Selected individual will provide support to the Emergency Planning & Response Branch (Superfund Removal Program) by conducting potentially responsible party research, cost recovery and other enforcement and general removal program activities utilizing publicly available information, federal, state and local records, and EPA legal templates, policies and guidances. Individual must be self-motivated, detailed oriented, able to work independently and well with others, manage multiple demands, and write succinctly.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States; able to pass a Federal Background check; HS diploma; 5 years of related experience; researching, writing, analyzing, & multi-tasking. Must demonstrate ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and provide high level of customer service to internal and external customers; strong Microsoft Office Suites preferred.
Hours & Compensation:
Full-Time position working 40 hours per week, holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
