Division Channel Manager

Eaton’s Electrical Products Group, Industrial Controls Division, is seeking a Division Channel Manager to join our team. This role can be based Menomonee Falls, WI or from other Eaton locations including Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Houston, TX or Tampa, FL.

Position Overview

The Division Channel Manager will be responsible to develop and lead marketing and sales strategies, communications, and growth programs with the Industrial Control channel partners to exceed sales growth goals, increase profitability, and improve product mix. Channel partners include traditional electrical distributors as well as niche partners as part of the mechanical initiative, online channel partners, and commission-earning sales reps.

In This Function You Will

Develop, launch and promote sales and marketing programs with Industrial Control channel partners.
Set growth goals for channel partners including sales of specific products, sales to identified segments, and customer penetration targets
Analyze and review sales and order trends with sales and Division leadership, channel managers and product managers to initiate proactive and/or corrective actions to meet sales objectives.
Identify conversion opportunities at channel partners and manage conversion process.
Establish into stock pricing policy and implementation.
Set direction for DSR sales organization’s ICD initiatives
Work with Eaton University team and ICD to ensure training needs and abilities meet our partners’ expectations. Ensure our channel partners are properly trained on ICD products.
Work with corporate channel organization to improve channel programs and increase channel loyalty
Manage ICD’s target market planning process including formation and execution of agreements.

Required (Basic) Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of five (5) years of sales or marketing experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with industrial channel partners.
Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Menomonee Falls, WI, Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Houston, TX or Tampa, FL.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or marketing.
Demonstrated experience developing industrial channel programs.
Industrial control product knowledge.

Strong understanding of how industrial channel partners function
Experience in direct sales
Robust presentation, communication and training skill
Ability to work independently
Experience working with all levels of an organization, including senior managers
