We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join Steel! Your responsibilities will include helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving order, shipping, and product issues.
You will manage a computer station and telephone in order to answer calls, respond to guest emails, and at times monitor a live chat room. You will also ensure customer satisfaction with Steel through follow up calls. You will process customer requests for order information, shipping updates, and product questions. Answer, record, and process customer orders, requests, questions, or concerns. Log all customer requests or issues into computer, contact appropriate individual or department, and follow up with customer to ensure their request has been met to their satisfaction.
Respond to Customer Service email’s and chats in live chat room
Answer phone and process phone orders
Provide information about the products and services Steel offers
Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
Document and update customer records based on interactions
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
Ability to build rapport with clients
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate computer and navigate customer service and ecommerce apps and software
This job operates in a professional, fast paced office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
