We are seeking a Coffee Trader for a global food commodity sales and trading organization headquartered. Our client specializes in solving complex supply chain problems for customers, focused on niche markets and products (including conventional, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free options). The company currently sources products globally with a focus on refined oils, specialty grains and flours, beans and lentils, fruits and nuts and fertilizer and soil amendments. The company has also developed blending/packing/manufacturing capabilities and is also actively investing in food startup businesses. Our client is looking to expand their existing product lines and are keenly interested in traders with business in new complimentary food and agri-ingredient product lines. The ideal candidate(s) has 10+ years of experience and will bring extensive relationships and an existing book of business. Successful individuals are entrepreneurial self-starters who are interested in collaboratively building a long-term successful business within the organization. Compensation is structured to reward this success. Primary responsibilities include the management of all customer and vendor relationships, as well as management of all inventory positions. The company provides extensive support for finance, food safety (SQF certification), logistics and operational support.
