We have several openings for a Business Development Manager (Software Sales).This is a remote position. (Preference for the North East, Tampa, Chicago, St. Louis, Austin, Raleigh.) Responsibilities Solicit business for PSC Software Generate leads, qualify prospects, and secure new business opportunities for PSC Software. Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients in the life sciences community to develop new business opportunities for PSC. Develop expertise in PSC Software and PSC products and services to enable the sale of these products and services to prospective client. Conduct market research and identify potential clients. Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database. Develop and provide competitive intelligence on competing firms. Drive top line revenue growth through professional, consultative, and proactive interactions with all levels of customers ranging from key decision makers to front line employees. Ensure proposals meet minimum standards for profitability. Follow up on submitted information (i.e., inquiries, RFPs, proposals, etc.) as appropriate. Provide direct client support, in close collaboration with Implementation team and Technical support. Immediately respond to client needs to meet client expectations. Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue streams. Attend and contribute to PSC Software implementation and sales meetings. Represent PSC Software and PSC Biotech at business development activities worldwide. Measure and manage customer satisfaction using FRM-109 from PSCs Quality Management System (QMS). Maintain the profitability of your region. Collaborate with appropriate internal resources to develop comprehensive sales presentation materials tailored to the client. Work with our Sales and Marketing Group to develop the appropriate content for printed, web and social media (PSC Websites (blog), LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc.) sales and marketing materials. Requirements Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required 3-5+ years proven business development, sales, and client support management in the life sciences industry. Software sales experience highly desirable, especially SaaS or cloud-based software Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. Demonstrated experience in developing and closing new business opportunities in the life sciences industry. Proven ability to generate a high volume/high quality sales pipeline. Proven record of delivering high quality presentations and business proposals/contracts under tight timelines. Highly organized in planning and time management, with the ability to multi-task. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent Independent Judgment This position is subject to a background check with satisfactory results.
