About the Role

The Governing Body of Llan-y-pwll School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, caring and energetic Year 3 and 4 teacher to join our team. This is a permanent position to commence on 1st September 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate will:

• Be an excellent, creative and confident practitioner, with a full commitment to the development of Welsh-medium education.
• Be flexible, dedicated, a strong team player and able to contribute effectively to school developments and the wider school community.
• Be ready to embrace the pedagogy and philosophy of the Curriculum for Wales and play a part in its development within the context of the school community.
• Plan and prepare lessons carefully and thoroughly, maintaining motivation, challenge and pace, while providing engaging, high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
