**Job Description**
The Yard Worker plays a key role in preparing vehicles for auction by safely checking in, cleaning, and documenting wrecked vehicles in a large outdoor yard. This position involves working hands-on with vehicles as they arrive, using a handheld device to record detailed information, and ensuring each vehicle is ready to move to the holding lot.
**Responsibilities**
+ Clean vehicles thoroughly during the check-in process, including vacuuming interiors, removing trash, and organizing the vehicle’s interior so it is presentable for auction.
+ Collect and carefully bag personal belongings found inside vehicles, keeping them separate and organized for proper handling.
+ Wrap and secure any broken glass or sharp edges in plastic wrapping to maintain safety and prevent further damage.
