Workstation Support Assistant

Purpose:
The position is responsible for providing microcomputer assistance to the libraries information systems. Particularly, installation, diagnostics and configuration of microcomputer software.

Education:
Some postsecondary education in IT or a related field.

Experience:
A minimum of 6 months of experience supporting computer and technical equipment. Knowledge of computer operations and software applications.

Skills:
Technical skills with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite including MS Teams, Browser Applications (such as IE, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Google Chrome etc.), Thunderbird, Antivirus, Kurzweil ZoomText, SPSS, SAS and Bloomberg preferred.
