Workers Compensation Plant Representative I

Position Description:

• Workers Compensation Claims Handler at the Plant with a focus on excellent customer service, quality claims handling, and loss cost management.

• Set up and enter new claims into the claim management system, ensuring claim coding is correct and files are properly documented.


• Perform critical claim technical tasks, including plant investigations and 3-point contacts.


• Interview claimants, employers, medical professionals, legal counsel, and witnesses, and prepare thorough investigation summaries.


• Prepare files for outside counsel. Assist in the management of all elements of claim files to reduce or maintain medical costs, lost time duration, and litigation expenses.
