About the Role

Summary The role supports investigators and project teams in maintaining study integrity, ensuring compliance with established protocols, and helping advance research initiatives that benefit Veteran care. Responsibilities Duties: Design, plan and conduct research projects in neuroscience, neurodegenerative disease, immunology, microbiology, and cancer research. Maintain and analyze primary and secondary cell cultures, stem cells and microbial cultures for research applications. Conduct molecular biology experiments such as DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, Weatern blotting, ELISA, perform flow cytometry, immunostaining, gene expression analysis, and microscopy, Investigate host-pathogen interactions, neuroinflammation.
