Minimum Required Qualification Level 4: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) and National Cert level 4 Certificate GET Education, Training and Development Recognised Winding Engine Driver certificate as issued by the DMR Onsetter's Certificate The Appointee should NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent) Recognised Winding Engine Driver certificate as issued by the DMR. Proof must be provided that certificate is still valid and WED has driven a winder in the last 2 years as an appointed WED. Onsetter’s Certificate At least 1-2 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver on AC and DC machines or have proof of Competence for newly qualified WED.
