About the Role
A Mining house based in the North West region is looking for an experienced Winding Engine Driver.
Duties
Accountable for operating the winder systems to ensure the safe transportation of people, materials and ore between underground and surface stations.
Ensure personal health and safety of oneself and that of team members by applying relevant standards and procedures in all planning and execution of Winder and related operations.
Perform prescribed winder and related installation inspections and testing in accordance with applicable Mine Health and Safety Act regulations, the Minerals Act and applicable Company standards.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate of competence
- Onsetter Certificate
- Minimum of 3yrs experience as a Winding Engine Driver
