• Develop and maintain an effective, system‑wide infection control program in the polyclinics and dental clinics.
• Provide education to healthcare staff on infection control protocols and policies; develop strategies for patient education on prevailing infectious disease issues.
• Serve as a resource person and provide advice on infection control practices.
• Monitor patterns, prevalence and trends, conduct surveillance and evaluate data in infection control practices to initiate appropriate control measures.
