About the Role

The Welfare & Safeguarding Officer (WFO) is responsible for promoting the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of all residents within the accommodation setting. The role focuses on safeguarding vulnerable adults and children, identifying welfare needs, responding to safeguarding concerns, and working collaboratively with internal teams and external statutory agencies to ensure residents receive appropriate support.
The WFO will ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed in line with UK legislation,
Home Office contractual requirements, and organisational safeguarding policies. The role
requires proactive welfare monitoring, accurate record keeping, and effective escalation of safeguarding concerns.
