This role performs Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) on aircraft parts and assemblies, fabricating and repairing metal components to precise tolerances using stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal alloys. You will contribute to the safe and reliable performance of aircraft components by producing high-quality welds and accurate repairs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) on aircraft parts and assemblies in accordance with specifications and quality standards.
+ Fabricate and repair metal components using stainless steel, aluminum, and various metal alloys to meet required tolerances.
+ Strike and maintain welding arcs to achieve correct depth of fusion and proper bead formation.
+ Inspect welds and components during and after welding to ensure accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with requirements.
