Welder Lead Hand – Fortis Mining, Engineering, & Manufacturing

We are seeking a passionate, detail-driven Welder Lead Hand. The primary responsibilities include delegating tasks, interpreting blueprints and welding process specifications, and safely operating manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment to meet production goals.

Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug test is required as a condition of employment.

Shift Schedules

• Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Current job opening: weekend shift

What You’ll Be Doing

• Fabrication and Welding tasks
  • Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW)
  • Operate flame‑cutting equipment
  • Operate metal shaping machines (brakes, shears, bending machines)
  • Conduct repair...
