About the Role

Responsibilities

:

Use a GMAW (Gas Metal ARC Welding) electric arc welding process to weld parts to print specifications

  • Inspect parts per print specifications

  • Set up and adjust welder and fixtures

  • Use a carbon arc air gouging and cutting process for rework

  • Use had grinders to fit parts as needed

  • Rotate to one of 16 various weld stations

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

    • Qualifications:

    High School Diploma required

  • Candidate should be able to read blueprints, understand weld symbols, basic math, reason and analyze

  • Should be able to use hand welder, hand grinders, air arc, hoist, tape measure, hammer, cutting torch, chisel, clamps and miscellaneous hand tools

  • Candidate should possess proficient weld skills
