About the Role
**Warehouse/Gate Operations Clerk**
**Pay:** $19/hr
**Schedule:** Tuesday – Saturday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
**Job Description:**
The Warehouse/Gate Operations Clerk is responsible for ensuring all shipping-related documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner. This role includes significant gate clerk responsibilities, serving as the first point of contact for drivers arriving and departing the facility, and supporting smooth yard and gate operations. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Acts as a gate clerk by greeting, checking in, and guiding drivers upon their arrival and departure.
+ Controls access to the yard by verifying driver credentials, shipment documentation, and distributing entry/exit paperwork.
+ Communicates daily via email with outbound carriers, providing schedules for shipments and equipment needs.
