Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Kent Country Parks as a Visitor Services and Events assistant.

You will work in the reception and shop area of the Visitor Centre so that visitors receive a warm and professional welcome, an efficient and helpful response to their needs and a retail experience in line with the Country Park setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the reception/information desk providing a public interface, friendly welcome and present a pleasant and helpful manner to the general public at all times.
  • Provide a basic First Aid point for visitors experiencing problems and to provide a calm and efficient initial response to issues, escalating as needed to other staff
  • Support the delivery of an annual events programme ensuring customer experience is paramount.
