• The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a credentialed position required to function in and practice in an expanded specialty. The NP has the responsibility and accountability for the assessment and management of patients, including ordering diagnostic tests, consultations, therapeutic interventions and the daily implementation and evaluation of an appropriate plan of care.
