Underwriting Manager, Energy

At AIG, we are reimagining the way we help customers manage risk. The Underwriting Manager, Energy will play a key role in that transformation.

• Assess and underwrite prospect business and renewal accounts in APAC in line with underwriting authority and AIG’s business strategy and guidelines.
• Work closely with risk engineering, claims, and analytical support teams to assess risk quality and loss exposures, determine appropriate pricing and ensure operational efficiency.
• Negotiate contract terms with brokers and clients.
• Adhere to company procedures and documentation management standards.
• Ensure underwriting information is maintained accurately in underwriting systems.
• Foster strong business relationships with external and internal partners.
• Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses to create effective insurance solutions.
