Underground Mining Auto Electrician

Our Macraes underground mining department is looking for an experienced Auto Electrician. Whether you’re new to the mining sector or keen to further your experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with New Zealand’s largest gold mine. This role will involve servicing, diagnosing, and undertaking electrical repairs to a wide variety of underground earthmoving equipment, both underground and in our above‑surface workshop.

Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off, roster 6:30 am/pm to 6:30 pm/am.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all underground equipment is mechanically and electronically maintained in accordance with company and manufacturer guidelines.
• Work at both surface level and underground to maintain and service vehicles.
